Leia's "Mamma" Day

Today, after Declan's birthday party, Leia Rose and I planned to go out to lunch and then to the Life and Science Museum. And I realized as we were sitting here that this was one of our few afternoons alone to enjoy each other as mother and daughter! We truly made the most of it, . . . starting with this awesome lunch from Panera. I let Leia choose whatever she wanted to eat ("what I usually have, Mamma") and wherever she wanted to sit ("at the high table, Mamma! At the high table!"). As a surprise, I got her a frozen lemonade! (But, I have to admit, it doesn't look half as appetizing as my iced coffee! Ha!)
