Making the Birthday Tape

Since the girls were born, I have helped them make an audio "Birthday Tape" every year where they talk about thier favorite toys, songs, and . . . well, anything they'd like to say. I got this idea from a student I had at Sacred Heart Academy who's parents did the same for her. It meant so much to her that she wrote a paper about it, . . . and I never forgot the sentiment. Each year on (or around) their birthday we listen to all of the old and record the new. It's really fun! I usually coordinate this with showing them pictures of themselves at the time to which they are listening. This year, Leia Rose was absolutely enthralled!!! I'm so glad I have another sentimental soul who loves memories!!!
