We all had a blast this weekend when
Newberry played
Brevard College right here in our backyard. Grandpa had been waiting for this since he heard we were moving here! ; )

During tailgating, Annie loved the fried chicken best, . . . until she discovered the Cheetos! Ha!

There wasn't much of a band which I thought might
disappoint Leia Rose, . . . she's always looking for piccolos. But that was before she saw THE CHEERLEADERS. After this experience, I thought for SURE that she was going to nix her dream of joining the band and do some cheering instead. ; )

Grandma & Grandpa kept encouraging Leia Rose to go and talk to the cheerleaders, . . . but this is as close Leia would get to them. It was so surprising to hear about a time when my little independent girl was a little bit timid!
