Separate from the picture, but still a worthwhile little tidbit: After surprising a friend with the info that I don't really play "my music" for the girls (i.e. musicals and stuff) and considering how I was going to tell my sister that I have no use for the MP3 player she gave me for Christmas (since it doesn't work in the car), I was creating all of these excuses in my head until I realized the main point:
My children ARE my music.
