The biggest disaster about this was that I thought Brian had taken Leia's lunchbox (complete with her Pizza-Thursday-Pizza) to work with him. (Leia cried about this, too.) Anyway, Mamma was the hero of the day when she ordered a Domino's Pizza for lunch!
During the day, Leia Rose decided she wanted to make a very special picture for Shenandoah, who is coming tomorrow. Here is the finished product and her workspace. Isn't it spectacular! Lately, Leia Rose has been very interested in creating art with recycled materials, a wonderful concept she learned at school. So, this one was decked out with napkins, foil, and magazine pics instead of just glitter glue and stickers. : )
As for Annie, she's getting into more and more these days. This cabinet is her special sneaky spot, . . . she especially likes to take out this little sunscreen stick and suck on it. I keep telling her that it was "Mamma's Cabinet" and that we need to put things back "IN." Can you believe she actually complied?!?
Here's another new pastime: finding paper napkins and ripping them. (Hence the recycled napkins for Leia's picture.)
Not much to say about this one except that I just thought it was so cute when she fell in love with this little piggy magnet and kissed it. : )
Ah yes, the newest addition to Annie's room: a trampoline (one I had from the 80's). Anyway, the story behind this one is that I'm afraid the sister time was diminishing because Leia didn't feel like she had much she could do up there. Well my old trampoline was just collecting dust (and holding bike helmets) out in the garage, so why not put it to some use? It fits perfectly under Annie's crib, and now Leia can just pull it out and jump while holding on to the rail! (And, of course, Annie has her own little jumping surface inside the crib.) It's been a wonderful addition to "Sister Playtime"!
And it was especially fun when both of the girls got to try it together, but I'll admit that all Annie really wanted to do was to climb on top of it and then climb off, climb on top and climb off, climb on top and climb off. : )

Funny about the trampoline :) (Kevin didn't even learn to jump until a year ago) And beautiful picture, Leia!
