Annie's Beloved Circle

I have been meaning to take this particular picture for a while. Since our mornings have been full of regular play, they ALWAYS include the shape-sorter (and the musical instruments). But this is just such a typical picture of Annie, her kitty by her side, working on putting the "moon!" in the sorter, while holding her beloved green circle (which is really a cylinder). If she actually puts the circle in the shape sorter, she'll immediately say "more" and ask for me to take it out. : ) She holds the circle the entire time as she fits all the other shapes inside. Today the most amazing thing is that she said, "ag-ag-ag" for "octagon"! (It kind of sounded like the laugh that Popeye has.) ; )

Just a little aside, . . . the time change has REALLY affected Annie this time in that she still goes to sleep at 8 or so, . . . but she wakes up at 10:30 AM!!! Crazy!!!
