Four-Way Hug

Leia Rose has wanted to institute the "Four-Way Hug" for weeks now! So here it is! Our very first one, . . . hopefully to become a tradition.
And even though it was abolutely frigid outside today, . . . guess who wanted to go out (and who followed). : ) Ironically, when it comes to going outside, it's Leia who is the follower. : )

The rest of the weekend was fun, too. Leia and I went to a really wonderful presentation of the Stations by the Junior Youth Ministry on Friday where they did a blacklight/whiteglove pantomime to a Christian song & did the Stations in shadow behind a screen. SO meaningful. Then we headed to Cary to go to On the Border, but mostly to buy a really inexpensive pathfinder to make my bike into a tandem for Leia! (And to buy Easter bonnets, but can you believe, we forgot?!?) And considering 7:30 AM was going to come VERY early today, we went to St. Michael the Archangel on Saturday night! Yay! Then this morning, Leia and I went to "The Living Stations" put on by Faith Development. I think I was expecting too much from it because it was no where near as meaningful as Fridays, but Leia did really like it.
In other news, Daddy made dinner tonight and Leia learned about syllables! She learned to count them by clapping & figure out the dominant syllable, . . . all through a dinner conversation! : )
