Little Woodland Fairies

This is the picture that inspired the title of this post, but the whole afternoon still really fits. : ) Anyway, Annie had lots of fun just sitting in this pile of leaves while the girls rode the zipline. She would throw the leaves up again and again, and just laugh. : ) It was really cute, . . . so I began calling her "my little woodland fairy." : )
Then we went outside for quite a while, and Heidi and Leia Rose played with lots of things, . . . they especially loved "flying." ; )
And Annie said "glove" today, as she is doing in this picture. She also said "pull" and "push." There are so many words now, I just can't jot them all down. Suffice to say that, if you ask her to say a word, she will (or at least she'll try).
Leia Rose also had fun pulling Annie back up the zipline, and then sending her off again. : )
Now here are some true woodland fairies!!! : ) Leia Rose's main desire for the afternoon was for Leia and Heidi to do "Bella Dancerella" together, mats and all. (And I see a third little fairy in the middle there.) ; ) So after they got in from outside (playing out there was Heidi's idea), then it was Leia's turn to pick, and she picked Bella. So the girls did the Bella video that Heidi picked first (Disney Princess) and the video that Leia picked second (Swan Lake). [Leia has been especially inspired to participate in the Swan Lake one lately because Mrs. Schnell has told Leia that Swan Lake is her favorite ballet. : ) ]
Both girls did a wonderful job participating! Bella Dancerella, by the way, is a DVD & mat set (some call it a "ballet studio") where Bella teaches you the ballet positions and encourages you to dance along with her. REALLY fun for aspiring ballerinas!
And today when I sat down to dinner, look what I noticed at my place!!! : ) Leia Rose had picked this flower, found a suitable vase, and filled it with water, . . . choosing to display it where it would brighten her Mamma's evening! So sweet! (Ironically, when I thanked her, she said, "Oh Mamma, that flower wasn't for YOU!" Ha! She meant, "it was for the whole family.") ; )
