And Leia Rose had a ball twirling the pink ribbon that she chose for Annie's bonnet.
Here is the beginning of the process, . . . all done as I looped the "Easter Parade" and "Drum Crazy" song from Judy Garland's most famous Easter movie. That's a yearly tradition now. LOVE it!!! A few weeks ago, Leia Rose made a very pretty necklace that she announced was to trim her Easter hat! You can see her beauty necklace pretty well here. She also asked for "ribbons flowing off the back like rain" and "a nest on top with flowers." She had a plethora of little things that she kept in a little bowl to save for decorations. They were added as well.
So beautiful!!!
Leia's Easter Bonnet 2008.
Annie's Easter Bonnet 2008. (The hand print was Annie's major contribution. : ) But, of course, Annie chose the eggs she wanted, and the Easter grass, . . . and she always loves Rosaries, so I added one of those. The rest of the design was Leia's and Mamma's idea.)
Mamma's Easter Bonnet. (I only use fresh flowers on mine, with a re-usable scarf to complement them. I think the pink flower is a hyacinth, . . . it was SO fragrant that after I put the hat in the car, the entire car smelled of fresh flowers for a very long time. : )
