Annie's Monkey?

I have mentioned little Kevin's "doggie" time and time again: that cute little harness/plushtoy/backpack all in one that helps Kevin be "reigned-in" when needed. And I vowed to never go to an adult party (i.e. Brian's Confirmation celebration) again without one. Well, today Annie's monkey arrived!!! I am now safe to go abroad with a wandering Annie! This little guy was so cute, and looks like he's just giving a big hug! He has a sweet face, hands and arms, a plush body that's so soft, brown fur (um, yeah, that's for how dirty it could get), and a long, soft, clip-on tail that is used as the "leash" so-to-speak. I just love the idea that this is just a child's backpack with a clip-on tether! Anyway, guess who was the most excited about this:

Leia Rose immediately wanted to play "baby," and spent the next two hours with "Monkey" on her own back tethered to a chair while she lounged in her "baby bed" which was the laundry basket, and really sucking her thumb (gasp!) which I stopped right after this picture. This entire incidence of imaginative play was just "SO Leia"!!! ; )
