Leia Rose had her first sleepover with Shenandoah Worrel tonight! The two have been friends since they were only a few months old, and even though Shenan moved to Virginia, the two have remained very close. The girls were so excited to have their very first sleepover that they both wanted to sleep in Shenan's special travel bed together. Hmmm, . . . the parents didn't expect any sleeping anytime soon. : ) The theme of the night echoed what Shenan told Leia Rose on the phone: "I heard bedtime, but I didn't hear sleep time!"
It wasn't long before Laura and I crept upstairs just to see what the girls were up to, . . . and this is how we found them: jumping on the bed, of course. : ) Their noise even turned the clapper light on! Thank goodness it didn't wake Armelle or Annie!
The girls settled down a bit more by reading some books, . . .
Finally, they lay there "head to toe" and Leia Rose seemed still rarin' to go, but Shenan kept asking to get into mamma's bed instead. The only one to throw a fit about this was Leia, . . . who calmed down after Shenan promised that she would come in to wake Leia Rose up in the morning for another fun-filled day! : )
