This evening, Leia Rose came running to us with a worried face saying, "Mamma! Daddy! There's a scary monster in my cup! There's a scary monster in my swishel and spit cup!" And, sure enough, there WAS . . . Thank you, soap scum, for this blast of imagination. : ) [Note to self: Don't ever use clear swishel and spit cups for teeth brushing.] It reminded me so much of when Auntie April saw that face in the chicken bone!!!
And in other news, today Annie learned to ride the little truck that Santa gave her! Now she can go forwards, instead of just backwards and falling off.
Brian got up with the girls today and commented that Annie said "egg" about a million times during breakfast. (Yes, Brian made them eggs.) Then they played "birthday" together. (And WHY didn't he take a picture?!?) It was so cute, Leia Rose was pretending to turn one year old. And Brian came up with the game "shake" which was, everyone held a maraca and when Daddy said "shake" they all shook them, but if he said any other word (like "bake" or "doodle"), they didn't shake them.
