Yep, there was more climbing trees today. (The girls needed a little bit of help with this one, though.)
Armelle, Shenan, and Laura surprised Annie with a really fun birthday gift that we listened to all the way home (well, when Robin Hood and Baby Einstein wasn't being watched, of course): two CD's of a fabulous children's songwriter named Laurie Berkner. Leia's favorite? "We are the Dinosaurs" (big surprise). I liked the one about the doodlebugs and Brian liked the one about the pretzels.
And on the way to lunch, I caught the girls holding hands in the back seat! I just love these tender sister moments.
And where did we go to lunch? Qdoba Mexican Grill, of course! (It's kind of a tradition.)
The girls always prefer to sit at the "tall counter" alone. (And this being a Mexican restaurant, Shenandoah's shirt says something very fitting: "Peace, Love, & Burritos"! : )
