Impromptu Playdates

Today we had two kids "come over and play" akin to the days of old when people felt free to just knock on doors. (I've always hated the term "playdate" anyway, even though I use it heavily myself.) It was wonderful! First, Leia wanted to call Bailey from next door. Bailey came over to play with dinosaur chompers and groovy girls (oh no). After Bailey left, Heidi wanted to play, . . . and Leia Rose was really happy to see her friend from down the street! The game in the picture was Leia Rose being a sleeping princess (is she a fakir or something? she's laying on wood blocks!) and Heidi swinging and saying "watch out." : ) But I think their favorite thing was doing "ballet leaps" on the front porch right at the end. : )
