Sesame Street Fever!

Okay, first let me say that as sure as I was that Leia wouldn't be too hot in her cotton pants and sleeveless shirt, . . . she came home in her extra shorts outfit! I couldn't help laughing! The reason, though, was that she got paint all over her. (A likely story!) Ha! Needless to say, though, I did my apologies, . . . with us hugging in the school parking lot for a nice and full two minutes, . . . and then we proceeded to have a nice afternoon . . .

Which was full of Sesame Street Fever!!! You see, Auntie April sent me a link to a You Tube clip that I had been wanting Brian to see forever, . . . it's the messy baby eating a chocolate chip cookie with cookie monster narrating in the background. I went to the link and suddenly discovered that the You Tube website is full of vintage Sesame Street clips! I immediately checked for "Ladybug Picnic," and there it was!
This is the first time in a long time that I was so very interested in something that I literally COULDN'T step away from the computer. I found about a hundred clips that I loved from when I was six or seven, . . . some of which I hadn't seen since then. I was in love. In total love! And Leia Rose was on my knee the whole time watching them with me (Annie too, after she woke up from nap). I felt like crying out of happiness, . . . that's how much I love to share my childhood with my own children.
