
After writing a previous blog post (and feeling guilty about neglecting our community helpers), Leia, Annie, and I trucked off to
Pittsboro and gave out goodies (i.e. jelly belly kettle corn & pecans because that's what I had left) to the firemen and the policemen that service our area. Here's Leia with the Fire

And then it was off to the police station to deliver some more. (Leia Rose had the job of carrying the popcorn, . . . and dropped the whole thing right in the lobby. *sigh* The 2/3
rds of it that didn't go on the floor was served to the deputies. ; )

Leia and Annie got some stickers, pencils, and cool badges that made them "Junior Deputies." Everyone was very appreciative and, even though we didn't get to see Sheriff Webster, I really felt like we spread some holiday cheer.
