After Mass this morning, the
McNeils joined us for a brunch at the Carolina Inn (one of our new monthly traditions).
At this time of year, the brunch at the Inn is particularly special because afterwards we journey the length to find all of the Twelve Days of Christmas! Here are the Seven Swans a-Swimming! (And in the background you can see the 10 Lords a-Leaping (on the Christmas tree shape), . . . which is funny because this version is the
UNC Basketball team "leaping" to make a jump-shot. And if you turn the wheel, they all "run" and make a basket!)
A slight detour past the always spectacular Gingerbread Competition!

enthralled by one gingerbread Nativity, . . . "

And this year, Annie joined in with a fast, loping crawl!!! : )
