Blood Sugar Update

Just thought I would mention how our plan has been working to give Leia a snack at 3:30. It's going really well, actually! I see now that Leia Rose's blood sugar level drops 3 - 3 1/2 hours after she eats. That's why 3:30 is so important. And tonight it was while I was tucking her in bed (again) that she said she was hungry. And, honestly, I don't think it was a ploy. I think she really was. So I gave her a piece of bread, . . . and she got crumbs all over her bed. *sigh* Tomorrow she'll receive her bedtime snack right after bath, but before teeth brushing. And Papa said he would bring his blood sugar meter to check Leia Rose at different times of the day. How interesting that will be to see!
