Leia Rose worked so hard on the artwork of her birthday invitation this year! Here is the result of our combined efforts! These'll go out this week. And I suppose in addition I'll include the rest of the information that I gave to the parents:Information for Leia Rose’s

5th Birthday Party
Caravan
Many of you have expressed a desire to caravan to the fair, so as not to get lost. Therefore, Brian & Leia will begin the caravan at 1 PM in the parking lot of the Marti Gras Lanes, right where 54 meets I-40 in Chapel Hill.
Parking
We will all follow to the State Fair parking lot on Hillsborough Street (this is the closest lot to the back gate of the fair, entrance #2). Parking is usually around $8, so feel free to carpool (brian will have room for two or three).
Entrance
At about 1:30 Brian and Leia will be at the back gate to escort everyone to the party area. We will take care of all entrance fees for one adult per invited child; however, feel free to bring your whole family! If you get lost, call my cell phone at 619-6947 and look for our Dinosaur/Pony balloons!
Basic Schedule (Ha! Subject to major change!)
· Cake & Presents
· Dinosaur/Pony Rides
· Kiddie Rides
· Petting Zoo / Animal Walkthroughs
· Ferris Wheel (sing happy b-day at top?)
· Candy Apple/Bluegrass Concert at 5?
Miscellaneous
Each invited child will receive a full sheet of ride tickets at the party as well as a small party favor (so you don’t have to lug it around) and a candy apple at the end. Stay for the whole party, separate from our group, or leave at any time.
Fair Tips (for first time fairgoers)
· The fair involves a lot of walking, so be sure to bring a stroller if needed.
· We’ll probably see some animals, so please come equipped with wipes and sanitizer.
· Bring cash both for parking, a quick snack/drink, and/or more tickets.

If it rains, the party will simply shift to Tues., Oct. 16.
