Four Fascinations

Today Annie spent lots of time being fascinated with shadow.

She also spent lots of time being fascinated with books. (In talking with Hollis in regards to Declan not being able to sit still for them and watching Kelly reading to Annie yesterday, . . . these were the things that really made me realize how much of an attention span Annie has for books, . . . at least the ones she likes.)

. . . But there's no fascination like that of something your big sister shows you. : )

Just as an aside, here's the "Leia Show" featuring the "Kitty Kitchen." (It also had the "Kitty Bathroom," the "Kitty Dining room," and the "Kitty Bedroom.") Lots of "shows" these days (in more ways than one).

(Kevin, you'll remember this one.) Here's Leia and Daddy doing more dinosaur excavation out of this little block of chalk-like substance that contains these glow-in-the-dark dino bones.

I'm afraid Annie woke up from her nap screaming out of pain because of her teeth. It was definitely time for "ka-nin" (or as we call it, "medicine").

But it didn't take long for the preoccupation with teeth to turn into fascination with chalk. (Thanks for that Easter gift, Godmommy Natalie!)

And here is Leia Rose working on a very pretty picture. (Our new blacktop driveway makes a perfect canvas for chalk!)

Here is the finished product: Our house (complete with garage) with a green grassy yard on a sunny day with a fluffy white cloud in the sky while it's snowing. : )
