Even though Annie was very grumpy today due to teething (she was drooling up a storm, which isn't like her) and possibly also due to two bumps on the head from falling backwards and one bloody lip due to falling against her crib rain, all of us still had a very nice evening together. This was the warm scene while I was making dinner. Everyone busy with play. : )
And it wasn't long before Papa and Leia Rose went outside to make full use of the new alligator and porpoise chompers. (I'm sure Leia was having them eat leaves.) : )
It was Leia's turn to pick the game tonight and we all played Mr. Mouth together (but Leia Rose never likes to put the fun top on that goes up and down, so the way we play it's more like "Mr. Open Mouth").
I had a very nostalgic evening with Papa playing Intellivision games like Burgertime and Frogger and Donkey Cong. (Oh how I wish I could have gotten both Space Invaders and our right controller to work!) Dad and I spent countless hours playing the Baseball and Football games together. Brought back so many memories!
And then Brian was truly in his element when he gave a sound demonstration of our new surround sound system and HD TV. So much so that he turned to the camera and said, "Yeah!"
